Dr. Aldous Dagmar | |
![]() |
age: 37 position: Doctor. specializes in: Delusional Disorders, Anxiety, Phobias, and schizoid personalities. He will take any case though, really, with the exception of violent cases. preferred method of treatment: He rarely turns to drugs, usually relying on his instincts. Much of what he does is just talking to patients, getting to know them, and genuinely caring about them. patients: Buffy Summers ( |
Dr. Alexandra Pappas | |
![]() |
age: 31 position: Doctor. specializes in: Alex has many skills. She likes to work with the troubled souls with dark pasts, but she will take on any case that she feels she would be able to do some good with. She works well with the rebellious types, though she can sometimes run out of patience with them. Trauma victims or patients from broken homes are her favorites. She will also happily take on cases that seem to lack any sense of hope of recovery. preferred method of treatment: She uses talk-therapy and delves into behavioral therapy as well. Medication is used only as a last resort. Having once been addicted to drugs and being all-too aware that even prescribed medication can be addictive, she is hesitant to use it. She will try other methods first, even dipping into other types of therapy, such as cognitive, before resulting to medication. patients: Alice Liddel ( |
Dr. Althea Shaman | |
![]() |
age: 42 position: Doctor. specializes in: She specializes in the dissociative disorders, though she can also deal with the sociopaths and the violent ones. preferred method of treatment: She uses psychotherapy and medication to help her patient’s various personalities be more co-operative. If she has to, she does use some behavioral treatments. However, Alti is a very stern woman and she does tell her patients the brutal, honest truth, whether they want to hear it or not. This behavior of hers can, of course, lead her patient to having a break in a session, though Alti finds it more fascinating when that occurs as it does give her more insight into what causes the patient’s stress. patients: Angel Gutierrez ( |
Dr. Auron Dorian | |
![]() |
age: 42 position: Doctor. specializes in: Talk therapy, getting the patient to talk about anything to get them comfortable with him. He won’t say much, let the patient talk more. He uses role play as well. Rather than give medications on whim, Auron likes to get to the root of the problem and go from there. Auron will use medication when he sees fit though, such as for a physical problems rather than write it off and just shove pills down their throat. He likes to really get into the brain of his patient and help them work out what their problems are. preferred method of treatment: Having spent many years in the field, Auron has been prone to take cases that other doctors have deemed lost causes, such as murders, child molesters, the ‘volatile‘ ones that no one wants to deal with. He likes a challenge so he’ll take on the biggest, baddest, patient that can be thrown at him, though is open to take lesser extreme cases as well, usually he deals with patients in their late teens to early 30’s. patients: Open for more. |
Dr. Brian Griffin | |
![]() |
age: 24 position: Intern. specializes in: Brian will take on any patient, but especially prefers cases that strike his sympathy, and is good with addictive personalities. He also gladly jumps on cases others have given up on, believing no case is hopeless. preferred method of treatment: Brian's methods have always been teach through experience. He'll stand next to someone and watch them dig themselves into a hole, just to help them back out and help them realize what they've learned. His initial approach is to try and bring himself to the level of the patient, trying to find some connection he can run with. He's not opposed to drugs as long as he believes it's truly for the betterment of the patient, and not just to numb and subdue them. He enjoys peoples uniqueness, and doesn't approve of drugs that take aspects of their personality away. patients: Christopher London ( |
Dr. Demetra Jord | |
![]() |
age: 29 position: Doctor. specializes in: Any patient with a predilection toward the arts. She will literally take any case, so long as the patient involved is already proficient in a creative field. preferred method of treatment: Music and Art Therapy. She has created a program for patients of any kind that show an aptitude in any art to use their creative instincts as a method of treatment. patients: Brian Slade ( |
Dr. Ezekiel Fell | |
![]() |
age: 40 position: Doctor. specializes in: Delusional disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma-based disorders are his forte, though he'll work with anyone. He's not going to turn away a patient. preferred method of treatment: While Ezra acknowledges that medication can be beneficial to the treatment process, he only incorporates it when he feels it would truly help the patient. Otherwise, he tends to avoid their use. Ezra combines aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy, and has been known to incorporate Jungian methods and, when appropriate, Christian therapy. He's open to new techniques, and tends to tailor his treatments to the needs of his patients. patients: Callum Wood ( |
Dr. Hannah Rhett | |
![]() |
age: 35 position: Doctor. specializes in: In all of the years that she has been studying and practicing medicine, she has never lost her temper. Her patience is an aid in understanding and being able to withstand more violent types of patients. Therefore, she will take anyone who feels would benefit the most from her treatments, whether they are stubborn or accepting, adult or child. preferred method of treatment: As she is of the opinion that while medication absolutely helps, it is -- with the exception of painkillers -- highly unnecessary, although she will prescribe it in low doses if she feels it would be most beneficial. Instead, she prefers treatments that are harmless and relatively drug-free, such as hypnotherapy, relaxation therapy, reiki healing therapy and behavioral exercises. patients: Connor McManus ( |
Dr. Hans Landa | |
![]() |
age: 40 position: Doctor. specializes in: He is prepared to deal with all manner of abnormalities, particularly personality disorders, mood disorders, psychosis, delusions formed as a result of trauma, trauma-based disorders (including DID, PTSD, etc), anxiety, sexual disorders, eating disorders and substance abuse. preferred method of treatment: He isn’t shy with medication at all, but if it impairs their functioning in sessions, he will adjust it or eliminate it completely. He is a proponent of CBT, analytical/Jungian psychology, behavior modification, hypnotherapy, sandplay therapy and psychoanalysis. He doesn’t often work with younger patients, but when he does, he will often employ play therapy. He encourages transference with his patients and may covertly let some conversion therapy elements or sentiments seep in, if applicable. patients: Emmanuelle Mimieux ( |
Dr. John Dove | |
![]() |
age: 35 position: Doctor. specializes in: Severe sexual disorders and those things categorized in the DSM as paraphilia and also with patients with primary disorders or episodes that stem from sexual abuse, confusion, or disfunction. preferred method of treatment: John advocates the use of intense drug therapy only when the patient is an immediate or pervasive violent threat to themselves or others (he has on occasion suggested drug therapy for violent rapists, for example). He prefers hormone treatment to drug treatments, and uses self-help and discussion strategies along with group therapy and behavioral modification. He has been known to use hypnosis and regression to get at the causes of psychological issues. To begin treatment John will sometimes prescribe low dose psychostimulants, because he finds they help patients to begin thinking differently about their situations, but he doesn't rely on them. patients: Amadeus D'Almaine ( |
Dr. Juliet Burke | |
![]() |
age: 37 position: Doctor. specializes in: Nervous and anxious patients, those with violent tendencies related to temper rather than sadism, and those suffering from depression and/or mania. preferred method of treatment: Juliet began training as a medical doctor before switching to psychiatry. Consequently, she has no aversion to medication. However, her strength in therapy is her calm, soothing nature. She will usually begin with a mixture of drugs and humanistic, client-centred counseling (including Jungian analysis and Maslow's hierarchy of needs). Dependent on the client's needs and their progress, she might then integrate Transactional Analysis or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. patients: Daniel Faraday ( |
Dr. Lita Kino | |
![]() |
age: 24 position: Intern. specializes in: Being an intern, she’s still testing the waters, but she would like to take on the temperamental, aggressive, angry patients with violent tendencies. preferred method of treatment: Lita wants to try out a few exercises that she’s learning in her classes that can be really beneficial to those who need guidance controlling their anger and violent urges. She has no interest in using medication and no desire to get her patients dependent on them. Her goal is for them to eventually be able to walk out of here with the capability to live their lives with the self control that they didn’t have before, using the methods that she teaches them. She wants them to be able to live more fully and productively without the source that the anger is oriented from bringing them down. patients: Ansley Geppetto ( |
Dr. Percival Cox | |
![]() |
age: 47 position: Doctor. specializes in: Anything really, Doctor Cox loves a challenge, there is a method to his madness. He can be understanding when it comes to hit work. He likes to work with patients that have both physical ailments due to their mental health. He would prefer more independent patients, ones who aren't too needy, and have low self esteem. preferred method of treatment: Lots and lots of medication, and a harsh dose of reality. Dr. Cox is never one to hold back his opinion, especially when he questions the diagnosis of a patient. patients: Bartholomew Favreau ( |
Remy LeFevre | |
![]() |
age: 31 position: Intern. specializes in: Mood, anxiety, and eating disorders are his specialty. He’s willing to try anything presented to him, but he doesn’t deal well with Dissociative Identity Disorder, psychotic disorders, or personality disorders. preferred method of treatment: The power of the mind. Remy refuses to resort to medication, thinks things like art and music are too sugar-coated, and usually reacts to violence with violence. He believes that as a strong enough belief can change physical ailments, there should be nothing preventing the strength of the mind to help cure itself and thus believes any condition can be recovered from with enough hard work. Perceptive and not afraid of being blunt, he often uses honest and sincere criticism to help people through their problems. Talking, helping people to see the truth, and mostly helping them see the benefit of being well? It's what he does. patients: Guinevere Durand ( |
Dr. Roseanne Queen | |
![]() |
age: 30 position: Doctor. specializes in: She's more for patients who like to play around things. She'd be good for someone like the “Chesire Cat” who'd like to talk in riddles, because she doesn't get overwhelmed, and she usually speaks with them in their own little riddles until she gets what she needs. preferred method of treatment: Mild medication to start with, and a strong focus on therapy sessions. Roseanne will not hesitate to increase a patients medication dosage if they do not give her the results she wishes to obtain in therapy. patients: Charity Norman ( |
Dr. Shawn Mendrick | |
![]() |
age: 24 position: Intern. specializes in: Shawn will take on just about any patient, but works particularly well with children, or child-like patients. Her patients do not all have to be artistic, but it would be better if they at least appreciate art. Because she is still an intern, she may take on a violent or aggressive patient, but only if they are artistic, and she believes that she can help them somehow. preferred method of treatment: Art therapy. Shawn likes creating a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere for her patients, since she believes that this is very important. Her office is packed full of art supplies, and she will even throw a magic trick or two into one of her sessions if she believes a patient is feeling particularly gloomy that day…or, sometimes she’ll just do one for fun. When she prescribes a patient medication, she tries to keep the dosage low, since medications disrupt a person’s artistic flow. patients: Clara Duke ( |
Dr. Spencer Reid | |
![]() |
age: 27 position: Doctor. specializes in: Reid is definitely not afraid of a challenge, and has a vast knowledge of psychopathy and other mental illnesses, particularly criminal. He is good at dealing with illnesses that stem from either the patient's childhood, or what they call a “trigger event”, disorders that are caused by events rather than those people are born with. That being said, he wouldn't shy away from any case presented to him. preferred method of treatment: Having spent many years working as a profiler, Reid's strongest method of communication with his patients is through talking. He is extremely empathic, and likes to delve into behavioural therapy, roleplaying, cognitive, and psychotherapy. He will use medication if it is absolutely necessary, but prefers to use other types of therapy before slapping his patients on a dose of drugs. He believes that roleplaying, cognitive therapy, and a strong sense of empathy are the best ways to help someone understand and overcome their problems. patients: Bartholomew Favreau ( |
